EPS. Or, to call it by its full name, the Electronic Prescription Service. It’s a way for people in the UK to get their prescriptions delivered straight to their chosen address for free. The NHS scheme was created to digitise the whole prescription and repeat prescription process, saving everyone (NHS, GPs and patients alike) a lot of time and hassle in the process.
Sounds great, doesn’t it? But do you use it? Do you know what it is? Have you ever actually heard of it?
Interestingly, a recent independent survey of more than 2,000 UK adults commissioned by Pharmacy Outlet found that 60% of people across the country don’t understand what EPS is or, worse yet, have never even heard of it.
So, for all the people who are currently in the dark about EPS, Pharmacy Outlet has pulled together a new infographic. Our simple introductory guide to EPS will tell you all you need to know about the service, including how it works, its many benefits and how simple it is to sign-up!
