Description: Canesten Internal Cream is a single-dose pre-filled 5g applicator of cream. When inserted into the vagina it effectively treats thrush at the source. Just one dose is enough to clear your attack of thrush. The medication is a soothing intravaginal cream for treating at the site of infection. The active ingredient in the cream is Clotrimazole, belongs to a group of medicines called azoles and is an antifungal agent, which fights the cause of infections such as vaginal thrush.
Usage Directions:
- Remove the applicator from the packaging, keeping the red cap in place, insert the tip of plunger into the applicator
- Twist and pull it to remove the red cap
- Carefully put the applicator as deep as comfortable into the vagina
- Holding the applicator in the same place, slowly press the plunger until it stops so that the pre-measured dose of cream is deposited
- Wash your hands before and after inserting the cream
- Preferably use it at night so that it can work while you sleep
Side Effects and Precautions:
- Itching, rash, swelling, discomfort, burning, irritation or vaginal peeling and pain in the abdomen or pelvic area are some side effects seen while using this medication
- Allergic reactions like, rashes, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of your lips, face, throat or tongue, weakness, feeling dizzy or faint and nausea may occur
Ingredients:
- A 5g of vaginal cream contains Clotrimazole 500mg (10% w/w)
- Also contains Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Isopropyl Myristrate, Cetyl Palmitate and Purified Water
Each Pack Contains: Canesten Internal Cream is available in single-dose packs containing 5g of white cream in a pre-filled applicator

- Store the medication below 25°C temperature
- Keep it away from sight and reach of children
- Do not freeze
