Adartrel Tablets 0.5mg is a prescription medicine advised for the treatment of moderate to severe restless legs syndrome (RLS) and Parkinson’s disease. Both these diseases affect the way your central nervous system (brain) co-ordinates the movements of your muscles. Ropinirole is the active drug composition of Adartrel Tablets 0.5mg, which is a type of dopamine agonist.
Ropinirole works by mimicking the activity of a substance in the brain known as Dopamine. It is a neurotransmitter that is found in the brain and is involved in transmitting messages between the nerves. The messages allow the normal functioning of the body. Ropinirole acts by stimulating the receptors in the brain. It basically acts as a dopamine substitute.
Adartrel Tablets 0.5mg must be used under the supervision of a medical professional. Follow all directions carefully while using this medicine. Nausea, vomiting, upset stomach, dizziness, fatigue and sleepiness are common side effects of Adartrel Tablets 0.5mg. If you experience skin rash, breathlessness or chest pain after dosage, immediately seek medical attention.
